Shannon Rae Song of the Week!
This song was the one that really motivated David Polich and me to really go for it with this album. Dave wrote this one on a napkin on the way home from Japan. He got home, got the music down and couldn't wait to let me hear it. There were several different versions of the opening of the song, the first rendition started with piano, then a kind of "Every Breath You Take" kind of vibe, but it eventually evolved into a song that we both love. And it is so relatable! How many times has a song influenced you and your life? Spoken to you as if it were written for you? For me...many times.
